Patient Story

I am thin. I have always been an active woman who exercises.

However, during the past few years my belly started to bloat and my menstrual flow increased so heavily that there were times I felt uncomfortable with even getting out of the house.

At the beginning I thought these were the normal effects of growing older (I am 44 years old); but when I started feeling really weak I decided to consult with my physician.

He diagnosed me with anemia caused by three fibroids, one of which measured 7 cm of diameter. Ever since I was treated, I gained my figure back, my menstrual periods returned to normality and I was able to go on with my daily activities.

I’m incredibly grateful to ExAblate Mexico!
